1. Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, accessing or using Aura, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Aura.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your country or region. If you use Aura on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. About Aura
Aura is an AI-powered companion that may provide conversational, visual, explanatory and personalised assistance. Features may include voice interaction, camera-based understanding, object or scene analysis, translation, summaries and remembered preferences.
Aura is continuously improved. Features, availability, supported languages and technical requirements may change over time.
3. AI-generated information
Aura uses artificial intelligence and may occasionally produce incomplete, inaccurate or inappropriate responses. You should review important information independently before relying on it.
Aura is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, emergency, safety-critical or other specialist advice. Do not use Aura as the sole basis for decisions that could affect health, personal safety, legal rights, finances or property.
4. Subscriptions and purchases
Subscription plans
Aura may offer auto-renewable subscriptions, including plans such as Aura Brain+ and Aura Companion. The exact features, subscription period and price are shown in the app before purchase.
Billing and renewal
Payments are charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
Managing or cancelling a subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Aura does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Free trials and introductory offers
Where a free trial or introductory offer is available, its duration and conditions will be shown before purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when a subscription is purchased, where permitted by Apple and applicable law.
Price changes and refunds
Subscription prices may change subject to Apple’s rules and any notice required by applicable law. Purchases and refund requests are processed by Apple and are also subject to Apple’s applicable payment and refund policies.
You can review Apple’s subscription-management information through your device settings or Apple support.
5. Camera, microphone and content
Some Aura features require permission to access your camera, microphone, photos or other device capabilities. You can control these permissions through your device settings.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to capture, upload, share or analyse any image, audio, text or other content you provide to Aura. Do not use Aura to record or analyse people where doing so would violate their privacy, consent rights or applicable law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Aura to:
- break any law or infringe another person’s rights;
- harass, threaten, exploit or deceive another person;
- upload content you do not have permission to use;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to Aura or its systems;
- interfere with, reverse engineer or disrupt the service;
- distribute malware, harmful code or automated abuse;
- use Aura for dangerous, fraudulent or unlawful activity; or
- misrepresent AI-generated content as verified fact where doing so could cause harm.
7. Intellectual property
Aura, its visual identity, software, interface, text, graphics and related technology are owned by or licensed to Aura World and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use Aura for lawful personal purposes.
You retain any rights you already hold in content you provide to Aura. You grant us only the permissions reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve the service, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Aura available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Features may be modified, suspended or discontinued where reasonably necessary for security, legal, technical or product reasons.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of Aura after an update means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Aura at any time. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct, security risk, technical abuse or harm to Aura, its users or third parties.
Termination does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. You must cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aura is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that every response will be accurate, complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aura World will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of opportunity or loss arising from reliance on AI-generated information.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits exclusion.
12. Apple App Store terms
When Aura is downloaded through Apple’s App Store, Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for Aura or its content, except as required by applicable App Store rules. Your use of the App Store and Apple’s payment services is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and conditions.
Apple and its subsidiaries may be third-party beneficiaries of terms applicable to your licence to use the iOS application and may enforce those terms where permitted.
